CMP Videos: Focusing the nation on LIFE

David Daleiden speaks to pro-life advocates outside Planned Parenthood’s new mega-clinic in Washington DC.

David Daleiden and his co-defendants face felony criminal charges, decades of jail time, and draconian civil penalties in connection with their investigative efforts to expose the radical abortion industry.

Without this work, abortion would not have been a key issue in last year’s presidential election, and it is unlikely that the Senate would be considering legislation to ban late-term abortions.

The Planned Parenthood videos catapulted pro-life issues to the forefront of our nation, yet David and others are facing civil lawsuits and numerous felony charges that have been called a “disturbing overreach.”

Two years ago, the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) helped shine a light on the crimes being committed within the abortion industry.

CMP’s investigative videos exposed Planned Parenthood for selling baby body parts for profit. The footage shows Planned Parenthood directors willing to manipulate their abortion techniques to “preserve” the most marketable parts of children’s bodies.

The evidence is damning!

But while David and his CMP colleagues face civil penalties as well as 15 felony counts and significant jail time, Planned Parenthood has gotten off scot-free.

Thanks to the CMP videos, the U.S. House of Representatives passed legislation last week that would ban abortions nationwide after 20 weeks of pregnancy.

Now, we must pray for two things, 1) that the Senate can pass similar legislation before the end of the year, and 2) that the CMP defendants are freed of the onerous legal actions taken to silence him.

The first of those outcomes is out of our control. All we can do is pray.

Life Legal is representing David in two civil lawsuits and funding his legal defense, but in order to continue doing so, we’re relying on the ongoing support of pro-life allies just like you.
