From Robert Wendland to Terri Schiavo, the past several decades have seen a proliferation of conflicts regarding whether or not to provide life-sustaining care to certain individuals. These controversies have been fueled by conflicting ideologies, cultural forces and the acceptance of the belief that hastening death is a rerasonable form of “treatment.”
Learn how to protect yourself and your loved ones from a hastened death the evening of Saturday, October 19, 2013. Life Legal Defense Foundation will host a forum addressing the issue of protecting the innocent and disabled from the threat of forced death at Our Lady of Peace Church, 2800 Mission College Boulevard, Santa Clara, California. Guest speaker Bobby Schindler, the brother of Terri Schiavo, will speak from the heart on this topic and will bring practical insight on how to protect and defend yourself and your loved ones.
Registration begins at 6:30 pm, presentation begins at 7:00 pm.
“We are thrilled to host this event at Our Lady of Peace and to have Bobby Schindler share his experience,” says Dana Cody, President and Executive Director of LLDF. “We will always remember Terri and we are determined that her death not be in vain.”
Also contributing to the presentation that evening will be Attorney Kevin Bedolla, a long-time friend of Life Legal. Mr. Bedolla has significant knowledge on the issue of forced death and will contribute to the presentation along with Dana Cody, covering such topics as medical directives and insights as to how the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) will impact your right to receive medical treatment.
