The course explores recurring problems in the area, and gives a detailed review of the Ninth Circuit case Hoye v. Oakland. This course is approved for 2.25 hours of MCLE credit for California Attorneys, and is being offered at no cost in the hopes of equipping more attorneys to handle these essential cases. For attorneys licensed in states other than California, check with your State Bar to see if reciprocity is offered for California-approved MCLE courses.
