Judge Denies Birmingham Abortionist’s Motion to Reconsider

In August, Circuit Court Judge Boohaker issued a permanent injunction closing the dangerous New Woman All Women abortion business in Birmingham. The order was issued after a hearing in which the evidence disclosed that an unlicensed abortion clinic, referred to as All Women’s Inc., was being run out of the decrepit building.

On September 6th, Abortionist Bruce Norman, filed a motion to reconsider the judgment. Last week, LLDF and local counsel William Webster filed an amicus brief urging the court not to accept new, unsupported evidence in what has already been a years-long battle to close this dangerous facility.

The motion was heard October 1st, 2013 before Judge Boohaker, and on October 3rd, the motion was denied. “We rejoice that once again, the court has made the decision to keep this dangerous facility closed,” comments Dana Cody, LLDF’s President and Executive Director. “LLDF will continue to do all in its power to see that women and children are protected from the threat that this so-called ‘clinic’ represents.”
